Nate and I have been battling colds for almost a week now. I thought mine was over on Saturday so I went out with friends only to be knocked back down on Sunday.

We managed to get down to the print sale that the Portland Art Museum hosts every year. We always hope there will be some nice prints in out price range, but sadly, there never are. It's still fun to go and look at all the different prints. Most of them you can pick up and look at really closely. You can also talk to the gallery owners about the technique and the artists. It's really fun and if you're in Portland, you should definitely check it out next year.

While we were there we did a little wandering around the museum. I forgot this piece by Andy Warhol is up. I love it, for obvious reasons.

I'm starting to feel better today. Hopefully this cold will be gone tomorrow and I can be a little more productive than I've been the past few days!

Onward.

It felt down right spring like today! 55 degrees and so much sun! Wow. Made me want to get out there and soak it up. I would have loved to be out there working in the garden or going for a nice long run. However, I had way too much to do today to do any of that. I did manage to get a nice sun shiny walk with Chloe. She didn't even need her little fleece coat!

Tomorrow looks like more rain and grey clouds. I'm okay with that though. After that horribly hot summer, I'm still enjoying the rainy grey days.

I've got my Mother's Day cards all done and the images sent to the printer! I'll share pics of them with you once I've gotten them in my hands.

Hope the week is going well for everyone!

Well, my goal for this month is to get a few new mother's day cards designed. I'm always a month behind on Mother's Day, Father's Day and Valentine's Day so I'm trying my best to be ahead of the game. I missed the boat once again for Valentine's Day this year...but I'm determined to be on top of Mother's and Father's day! I think I'm off to a good start so far.

Good news on the Chloe front. She had her annual checkup today and the vet said she seems like she's doing really well! I hope this is a good year for her. She had several health issues last year and fingers crossed this year she stays healthy. Fingers and toes crossed.
