Well, I didn't get accepted into the juried show. I'm bummed, but I'm not going to let it ruin my weekend. A large part of being an artist is dealing with rejection. Not everyone is going to like your work. Sometimes your work is not going to be the right fit. Sometimes you need to work a little bit more on your subject and technique. 

I'm heading out of town to see some really good friends tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to a little change of scenery and having some good laughs with my friends.
